Fertility And Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the best resources that a family can incorporate when looking to conceive. Whether through natural methods or with supported interventions like IUI and IVF acupuncture will always be a positive addition. In fact, many fertility clinics, OBGYNs, and midwives refer their patients to come to see acupuncturists.

When should I start getting treatments?

The sooner the better! I recommend coming in at least three months prior to any interventions or as soon as you decide you’re ready to start your journey. Prepping the body is just as important as the actual fertilization time. We want to be able to boost your blood supply, regulate any menses, and relax the mind, spirit, and body.

If I’m doing IUI and IVF when should I come in?

Come weekly in general and then the day before, of, and after your procedure.

Once I’m pregnant can I still come in?

Absolutely and in fact I recommend it. I work with you through the entire pregnancy to deeply support the growth and also address any symptoms of complications that come up in conjunction with your doctors of course.
